From the post announcing the original version:
LibertyColumns.com Library are books containing columns from the blog LibertyColumns.com, with all copyrighted content removed (brief footnotes and occasional bracketed summaries are added when needed). The books are available at the Internet Archive in PDF and other formats, and they are dedicated to the public domain according to the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication.
Volume III contains all columns on LibertyColumns.com written from September 2012 through December 2012. It is the “Doomsday Edition” of LibertyColumns.com Library, as it is published on on December 20, 2012, the day before the end of the Mayan Calendar, concluding with the post Armageddon is Here. The final week of December will begin Volume IV, with December 30th (Sunday) being the week of January 1, 2013 (Tuesday).
The “Un-American Version” of LibertyColumns.com Library: Volume III was released on April 16, 2013. From the Preface to the Un-American Version:
This edition of LibertyColumns.com Library: Volume III is intended for nations where the “Farewell Speech” of Ron Paul would be copyrighted, either by Ron Paul or the US Federal Government, and could be used to seize this book and prosecute and intimidate lovers of liberty.
Why did I use the term “un-American”? Not as an insult toward people of other nations. This book is “un-American” because life, liberty, property, and the US Constitution itself, is increasingly becoming “un-American”. Politicians of both parties continue to destroy and ignore the US Constitution, while portraying its supporters as violent, crazy, and intolerant.
This book has not been updated for the times – the columns (and footnotes) are presented identically to the original LibertyColumns.com Library: Volume III (2012, September through December). This “Un-American Version” lacks two columns: “Ron Paul’s Farewell Speech” and “Why Libertarianism Fails: Thoughts On Ron Paul’s Farewell Speech”.
This book is intended only for countries where Ron Paul’s Farewell Speech is copyrighted. Everyone else should use the original version.
